Walking Festival: Elfield Exploration Walk

Elfield Nature Park

Saturday 11 May
11am
Free
Suitable for all ages

As part of the Walking Festival we're delighted to offer the unique opportunity to visit The Parks Trust's only closed park!

Elfield Nature Reserve is not normally accessible unless you are guided by a member of The Parks Trust team to protect the biodiverse habitats and interesting wildlife found in this area. This guided walk on Saturday 11th May will include an introduction to the features of the park including our honey bee hives, land management and the amazing wildlife that lives here.

Meeting at Elfield Nature Park, Bleak Hall (accessible from Watling Street)

While the park is not large, the terrain can be unsteady. Please be prepared for a gently-paced stroll. We recommend sturdy footwear and appropriate outdoor clothing for this walk.

This event is free to attend, and booking is not required. We hope to see you there!

Elfield Nature Park is the hidden gem of Milton Keynes’ parks. A mixed landscape of woodland, grassland, scrub, ponds and ditches, the site is not normally open to the public but is very rich in flora and fauna.
