Saturday 17 AugustJoin us on Saturday 17th August from 12pm – 4pm to enter the world of the Romans. Discover their way of life, take a guided tour around the Roman Villa remains, and take part in themed crafts and activities. Meet real-life Roman Soldiers and see if you have what it takes to join the Roman Army! Have a go at building your own fort and knocking it down with our hand built Roman Catapult. Learn about Roman medicine, mosaics and much more at this fun filled educational afternoon.
The event will be located at: what3words /// drips.tango.blush. Please park in the Bancroft car park located on Constantine Way, or there will be extra parking on the day here: what3words /// steamed.voted.trophy. Toilets and refreshments will be available on site. Please note, some ground may be uneven and the majority of the site is on grass.
