Enter the world of the Romans and discover their way of life at Bancroft Roman Villa.

Join us for a fun and educational afternoon filled with activities to learn about Romans on Saturday 16th August from 12pm – 4pm, at the Bancroft Roman Villa in North Loughton Valley Park. What3word location blissful.bonfires.tube.

Discover the traditional Roman way of life by meeting a real-life Roman woman and a Roman soldier, to see if you have what it takes to join the Roman Army!

Travel back in time to learn about the history of the Roman site by taking a guided tour around the Roman Villa remains. Take part in themed crafts and activities and have a go at building your own fort and knocking it down with our hand built Roman Catapult.

This event is designed for families and children, and remember, children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

No booking is required for this event. We look forward to seeing you there!
