Would you like to know more about the incredible wildlife living right on your doorstep? During this exploratory walk on Wednesday 17th April you will get to learn about Furzton Lake and some of the fascinating flora and fauna that live there. There will be a chance to see some of the creatures living at the lake as well as asking any questions you may have.

Please meet at the Furzton Lake Triple Star Car Park, off the V4 Watling Street, What3Words location: ///childcare.budget.universes, where there are accessible parking spaces. We will then walk around the lake and see which fascinating creatures live there. There are public toilets available at this location, and a restaurant and pub should you wish to continue your visit after the walk.

The walk will last roughly 1.5 hours at a slow-moderate pace, and will cover approximately 1.5 miles. We will use surfaced paths but please note, there are a number of steep slopes around the lake which do not have handrails. Please get in touch to tell us how we can support your accessibility requirements. A hearing loop is available on request.

Please dress appropriately for the weather as this walk will go ahead in poor weather conditions.

Spaces are limited, so if you are no longer able to join us please let us know in advance by emailing outdoorlearning@theparkstrust.com or calling 01908 233600.
