Summary

Discover the natural world around us, using all of our wonderful senses.

Your group will be led on a guided walk of one of our parks and given sensory challenges such as finding specific colours in nature, listing the sounds we can hear and searching for textures. Students will even get a chance to create their own smelly potions!

  • Identify, name, draw and label the basic parts of the human body and say which part of the body is associated with each sense.
  • Observe changes across the four seasons.
  • Observe and describe weather associated with the seasons and how day length varies.
