Have you ever wondered what happens to our wildlife in the winter?
Join our outdoor learning team on a hibernation adventure in your local parkland. We will learn how and why animals hibernate, and what happens to those who don’t.
This is a reduced-price session at only £2.50 per pupil! This session is only available from the last week in November to February half term.Â

How does this session link to the National Curriculum? (Key Stage 1)
- Identify and name a variety of common animals.
- Describe and compare the structure of a variety of common animals.
- Recognise that living things can be grouped in a variety of ways.
- Identify how animals and plants are adapted to suit their environment in different ways.
