Make a Difference Day is a worldwide celebration of volunteering and community, with events dedicated to encouraging individuals to make a positive impact in their communities, no matter how big or small the effort For 2024 we'd love for you to join our Staff and volunteers help bulb planting around the trees in your local green space!

 

Where and when?

Meeting point: the corner of Walmer Way and Carrington Gardens,

Meet by the Parks Trust flag. 

 

Starting at 10am and finishing by 12:30 - you don't have to stay for the full session just drop in when you can. 

 

There is no car park for Kingsmead and on street parking where possible.

 

What do I need to bring?

Please bring your own gardening gloves, a trowel or spade and wear suitable clothing and sturdy boots/shoes

Please bring a drink or snack with you.

 

If you don't have any equipment we can provide it, though you are welcome to bring your own gardening/work gloves if you have them and a trowel or spade.

Please ensure you come dressed appropriately for the weather with sturdy footwear.

 

Young people attending must be supervised at all times.
