Art in the Park
Engage, inspire and challenge your students in our Art in The Park session as they are given a guided tour of public artworks in Campbell Park.
Give your students an insight into how art and design across Milton Keynes reflects our history and contributes to the culture, creativity and wealth of the city.
Students explore the art trail around Campbell Park looking at a range of sculptures, learning about the artists and their vision. The session will also encourage students' own creativity and artistic flare by creating their own art pieces using the nature around us.
This will help them to develop a critical understanding of artists, architects and designers, expressing reasoned judgement that can inform their own work. This could be a stand-alone visit or part of a longer scheme of work you may be delivering in school to equip students with the knowledge and skills to experiment, invent and create their own works of art, craft and design.
Please note this session can only be booked at Campbell Park.
Suitable for Key Stages 3 and 4.
