Environmental Heroes
This interactive session is based around the 3 main principles of the Countryside Code: Respect, Protect and Enjoy.
Summary
How can we practise being environmentally friendly in our local parks? NEW FOR 2024! This interactive session now has two options for how to achieve key behavioural principles when visiting our local parks, and how we can each make a positive impact on the environment.
Option 1: Respect, Protect & Enjoy
These 3 concepts are derived from The Countryside Code. The aim of this session is to show students how to be responsible park users and how to apply these principles any time they visit a green space.
Option 2: Reduce, Reuse & Recycle
Focussing on Environmental Sustainability, these activities are designed to encourage your students to be more environmentally aware and practise sustainability in all aspects of life.
Please see session plans for further information on what activities you might expect.
