Junior Park Rangers

A free nature club for Primary Schools

Is your school looking for a new challenge that can help the environment? Junior Park Rangers (JPR) is a free, inclusive and fun club that you could become a part of!

JPR is exclusively for students in Years 4 to 6 from Milton Keynes schools. Each school must have an adult Coordinator/s who can arrange and facilitate meetings, helped by a monthly newsletter from The Parks Trust which will be packed full of activity ideas and resources, park information and other helpful information that can be shared with the group.

Your Junior Park Rangers will receive Parks Trust goodies on joining the club, and will have access to free, exclusive, weekend workshops. These workshops are independent so teachers and parents/carers are not required to attend, but you are very welcome to come if you want to!

A child in a purple hat is looking into the camera with a pair of black binoculars. He has a smile on his face and there are large textured trees behind him.

A Coordinator’s role is very flexible and doesn’t take up much time. We look for a commitment of approximately 2-3 hours a month, and sessions can be run at lunch or after school. If you are a teacher or teaching assistant, you can find out more about the role of a school Coordinator.
