Butterfly Spotter Guide
Our Outdoor Learning team have created some handy Butterfly ID guides so you can keep track of what species you spot in the parks this summer.
There are two different guides, one for July and one for August, which feature butterfly species you are most likely to spot at those times of year.
Help contribute to nature by recording your findings and submitting them for this year's Big Butterfly Count which takes place from Friday 17 July to Sunday 9 August. This UK-wide survey helps to assess the health of our environment from the amount and type of butterflies (and some day-flying moths) recorded.
