The Parks Trust’s property portfolio includes 44 paddocks which are located predominantly throughout the Ouzel Valley and Loughton Valley linear parks, Great Linford and Caldecotte Brook.
38 have been allocated for horse grazing and the remaining 6 for use by local dog training businesses.

For those that are new to owning horses, we do request a minimum of 6 months at a livery yard or equivalent to build up experience and horsey contacts before taking on one of our paddocks.
These paddocks are priced per space (1 space = 1 horse/pony).
- 1 space: £366.00 per quarter (£1464.00 per annum)
- 2 spaces: £682.50 per quarter (£2730.00 per annum)
- 3 spaces: £1,050.00 per quarter (£4,200.00 per annum)
Where there are multiple paddocks in one area, these are typically leased under one license as pairs or groups where the overall size or ground conditions throughout the year require rotational grazing to manage the land effectively. Most paddocks are within easy riding distance of the bridleway network.
Please note, we do not accept thoroughbreds, colts or stallions in our paddocks.
