Letters of the alphabet are located around the park and can be found on yellow plaques on both sides of the canal. Each plaque tells a story of the park's heritage, both historic and natural.

The plaques are designed to be discovered during one or multiple visits to the park and can be found fixed to park benches, railings, posts and other park features.
