The Parks Trust was established in 1992 to care for Milton Keynes' parks and green spaces, forever.
We are an independent charity that maintains and develops over 6,000 acres of beautiful and inspirational green space in Milton Keynes including parks, ancient woodlands, lakes, river valleys and 80 miles of landscaped areas along the city’s grid roads.

Our parks are home to many pieces of public art and local heritage.
We care for over 30 pieces of public art across Milton Keynes' parks. This includes old favourites such as the iconic concrete cows in North Loughton Valley Park and new installations such as the playable sculpture trail at Great Linford Manor Park.
We are responsible for many pieces of significant local heritage and scheduled ancient monuments in the parks. These pieces of history help tell the story of Milton Keynes' past and give glimpses of what the city used to look like.
Milton Keynes' parks contain some of Buckinghamshire’s most important wildlife habitats, including ancient woodlands, meadows and wetland reserves. As well as conserving these key sites, our team of biodiversity experts enhance opportunities for wildlife across our parkland.
The Parks Trust offer a variety of products and services which help generate funds to care for the city's parks.
As Milton Keynes expands we want to ensure all future areas of the city benefit from the same extent and quality of green space as is found in the established areas of the city.
