Park Rangers

This citizenship focused session allows students take an interactive walk to discover the impact that people and wildlife have on our parklands why we need to be responsible citizens.

Explore the rich cultural diversity of Willen Lake and Campbell Park in this guided walk which includes key sites such as the Tree Cathedral and Peace Pagoda.

Environmental Awareness

This interactive session is based around the three main principles of the countryside code: respect, protect and enjoy. Students will learn how to achieve all of these principles when visiting our local parks, and how we can each make a positive impact on the environment.

We helped over 50 people sleeping rough in our parks last year to engage with agencies that can help them find accommodation.
Last year The Parks Trust worked directly with over 50 community groups on projects, events and initiatives linked to the use of our parks.
We may be able to create a specific session for your students to focus on a particular skill or subject area.
