Lady Margery's Gorse is an area of historic gorseland named on old Ordnance Survey maps, now a neighbourhood green space. There is a small woodland walk through a gnarled grove of trees and an excellent play park.

But who was Lady Margery? Could it be the character from Game of Thrones? Or do you happen to know the real story behind the name?

Play Area

The Lady Margery’s Gorse park can be found in the newly created Whitehouse estate. It’s the perfect place for toddlers and children up to the age of 10 to get outside and exercise!

There are several different types of equipment to keep your children entertained, such as a pair of swings, a climbing frame, a swinger, and a multi-play structure that has a slide and a tunnel. When approaching the play area, there is also several fun wooden obstacles for your children to enjoy.
