About Caldecotte Lake

The lake is ideal for outdoor adventures of all kinds, with things to see and do for all ages. There are walking routes around the entire lake (north and south), a play area (managed by Milton Keynes City Council), outdoor trim trail, and watersports

There's plenty of wildlife to spot, including waterfowl, dragon and damselflies, and opportunities for birdwatching from two bird hides.

The Caldecotte Pub based in the old windmill is a scenic spot to relax and enjoy the views over the lake.

Watersports clubs operate around the lakside, including the Canoe Club, Rowing Club and Sailing Club. Please be aware that general access to the lake is prohibited unless you are member of one of the watersports clubs or part of a licensed event.

With over a mile of fishing bank, anglers will love Caldecotte Lake fishing. Stocked with roach, pike, bream and tench, the lake can be fished on a day ticket available from Milton Keynes Angling Association

Trim Trail

The fitness trail at Caldecotte Lake can be found on the south lake near Caldecotte Business park and it features eight pieces of equipment to test your fitness.

Provided by Walton Community Council there is a range of pieces from cross-country skis to rowing practice, all designed to help people stay fit and enjoy the park at the same time.
