Workshop: Bug Hunting for Adults
Do you know your lacewing form your ladybug and your beetles from your butterflies? Join us for this fun, interactive adults only bug hunting session.
If you've ever wanted to find out how to identify the bugs and insects that we find in our gardens and parks, then this workshop is a great opporunity to explore the different habitats of Walton Lake. In this practial adults-only workshop, you will have the chance to try different bug hunting techniques to find the minibeasts that live in the grasslands surrounding Walton Lake.
Our team will speak about the different habitats we have created at this site and how The Parks Trust are helping to encourage more biodiversity.
Booking is essential. This workshop is an adult-only session. All participants must be 18 years or over.
There are no toilets or refreshments available at this site. The ground may be uneven and muddy in places. We will be venturing off the main paths into long grass.
