Wheelchair Ramble: Loughton Valley Park
Free guided wheelchair ramble, designed to build confidence in visiting our parks.
Join Nick Wilson AKA @TheDisabledAdventurer for an inclusive, guided ramble designed for wheelchair users. This relaxed and scenic route offers the chance to explore the beauty of nature in a supportive and accessible environment. Along the way, participants will learn about local wildlife, plants, and the natural history of the area, all while connecting with fellow adventurers. Perfect for those looking to enjoy the outdoors without barriers. Families and caregivers are welcome! All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Nick is an experienced adventurer, enjoying getting outdoors around Bucks and Northamptonshire. He has recently completed an ascent of Mount Snowdon using an all-terrain mobility vehicle. He's enthusiastic about helping other wheelchair users to gain confidence in getting outdoors and exploring local nature. Find out more about Nick's work via his social media.
The event will last approximately 90 minutes. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water.
