Linford Wood is the largest and oldest of the 3 ancient woodlands in Milton Keynes. During this guided walk we will explore the 700-year-old history of the site and the plants and animals that call this woodland home. You will find out how The Parks Trust manages the landscape here and how we plan to ensure that this park continues to be a haven for local wildlife.
This event is part of our outdoor learning programme which is designed to help people learn more about Milton Keynes parks and the natural environment. This walk is suitable for anyone age 12+ with an interest in wildlife and the local area. All under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult. Booking is essential.
Linford Wood is a mixture of hard paths and muddy trails with tree roots. There are no toilet facilites or refreshments availble within the woods but there are coffee shops nearby.
