Designed for all ages and abilities, this event offers accessible routes and facilities, aiming to raise awareness and provide an enjoyable experience while discovering the hidden gems of Milton Keynes’ green spaces.
Meeting point: Please meet in front of the Willen Observation Wheel, What3Words location lightens.outfitter.happening.
Please wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Dogs: Please note, only assistance dogs are permitted on this walk.
The event duration is approximately 1 hour-1.5 hours and will be at a gentle pace, allowing time for informal chat and any questions you might have. A member of The Parks Trust team will lead the walk and answer any questions you may have.
Toilet facilities will be available on site.
- Vision Impairments: Our team will guide you through the walk, describing features and identifying hazards. We can meet you at a drop-off location if needed.
- Hearing Impairments: A portable hearing loop system and voice amplifiers are available upon request.
- Wheelchair Users: Routes are selected to be wheelchair-accessible, avoiding muddy paths and steep slopes.
- Neurodiversity: The walk aims to be a calm and peaceful experience, engaging all five senses. Quiet zones are available for breaks.
