Help take care of your local parks at our Community Litter Pick.
Come along to our Summer Holiday Family Litter Pick and help us keep our parks clean and green! This fun event will take place at the Oakgrove Park, just before our Parkland Play event, and is a wonderful way for families to spend time outdoors, meet others, explore the park, and look after the local environment together.
Event Details:
• Time & date: 10:30am, Wednesday 6th August
• Meeting spot: Oakgrove Play Park, Aiken Grange
• What3Words location: prices.struck.call
Please note that this is the meeting place for the event. Parking is available at the local shopping centre nearby and is a 5-minute walk from the event.
A friendly member of our team will lead the litter pick, providing all the equipment you’ll need and taking care of the collected litter for recycling and disposal. The session will start at 10:30am and last about an hour.
What else do I need to know?

- There aren’t any public toilets or café at this location, but a coffee shop is nearby at the local centre.
