Community Volunteering: Labyrinth Restoration
Willen Lake North
Saturday 25 MarchWillen Labyrinth is a turf maze based on an enlarged version of the Saffron Walden Rosicrucian Maze. At its centre is an oak tree and in each of the four lobes is a bronze face designed by sculptor Tim Minett.
From time to time we need to give the maze a bit of TLC to ensure it stays as a prominant feature in the park. We are inviting you to help us restore this art piece as part of this month's Community Volunteering task.
There will be 2 sessions to choose from: 10am-12pm or 1pm-3pm
Please book to take part in either the morning or afternoon session.
Free parking is available at the car park near Willen Pavilion. What3Words: ///volume.skimmers.nylon additional parking can be found at the Peace Pagoda Carpark (fees apply).
All equipment will be provided, though you may wish to wear your own gardening gloves. Please make sure you come suitably dressed for the weather with sturdy footwear.
This task is only suitable for adults and children over the age of 12. Children must be supervised at all times.
