Did you know that Milton Keynes is home to several species of bats? Join us for a guided bat walk at Walton Lake and discover more about these incredible creatures! Our expert guide will share fascinating bat facts and help you spot them in flight.

This event is timed to begin just before sunset. Please check the start time and arrive early for a quick briefing and to learn how to use the bat detectors.

Due to the popularity of these events, pre-booking is essential. Each attendee requires a ticket, and children must be accompanied by an adult. Adults tickets are £5, and child tickets (u16) are £1

Please dress warmly, as it can get cooler after sunset.

Be aware that the route may have minimal to no lighting, with a mix of hard and soft paths. If you have any accessibility concerns, please reach out to us before booking so we can discuss options.

A portable hearing loop is available upon request by emailing events@theparkstrust.com.

Please note that dogs (except assistance dogs) are not permitted on these walks. We hope to see you there for an evening of bat spotting!
