Bowls, also referred to as lawn bowls is a precision activity where players roll biased balls with the aim of stopping them as close as possible to a small ball called the ‘jack’. Enjoyed around the world by people of all ages, bowls benefits players with gentle physical activity and tactical challenge, making it both a leisurely pastime and competitive pursuit.
In Milton Keynes Wolverton Park Bowls Club - the oldest bowls club in Buckinghamshire, recently opened their new clubhouse and green at Wolverton Park. They are open through the winter three nights a week, catering for shortmat bowls and other social events. The club have coaches to teach new members with a new player introductory offer.
